Lunatics walk the streets
With blood on their hands
The old, worn out slogan screams:
"Sacrifice yourself and others for the greater good!"
It's the madman's motto, but the good's still nowhere to be seen
We're all mumbling some "words of wisdom" we heard from some "wise men"
God is dead and all you see are snakes on the TV screen

Those poor bastards all take part in this daily lunacy
But still can't see through the bullshit they're being offered
Their weak minds and bodies were sacrificed for money
Hypnotized flock of sheep led by a blind prophet

Their eyes are covered in sludge
Oozing out of their screens
And poisoning their minds
That's where it all begins!

I look at them all with tired eyes
And tell myself "It'll pass, as everything does"
But each year I discover new piles of lies
And I know that one day they will bury us
One sunny morning we'll wake up and see
We've been thrown into the dustbin of history

The only question is: do you want to follow
Or do you have guts to say "I'm my own saviour"
And break the cycle of dependence on sorrow

The path of the righteous man leads through the shadows
And the darkness of corroded souls of the stupefied herd
At the end of the tunnel there are peaceful meadows
You will fly away into the light free like a bluebird
